Badger survey

Badgers are a widespread and locally common species and as such are often a risk on development sites. Their protection relates to the persecution of the species, rather than a rarity per se - hence The Protection of Badgers Act 1992.

CS Ecology can advise on the best course of action regarding badgers on your site, from an initial badger survey through to best practice mitigation measures, including avoidance and where this is not practicable, licensing, sett closure and mitigation measures.

Please note that sett closures can only be undertaken under Natural England licence from July to November (inclusive).

Please contact CS Ecology for further information and a no obligation quotation.
